The Collector is a film about Sonja Henie. It consists of small chapters which all deals with ways of doing a biography. Archive footage, interviews and re - enactments all contributes to a story about Norway as a nation, about own background, and how we look at art. All seen through the ice skater, movie star and art collector Sonja Henie.
